In 2005, our foundation's founder, Helen Patton, made the decision to personally dedicate herself to a more conciliatory and peaceful world. For this reason, she established the “Patton Foundation: Sustainable Trust” founded as a continuation of the lasting peace that her grandfather, General George S. Patton Jr., helped to establish in Europe in 1945.
The main topics of Patton Foundation: Sustainable Trust are mostly multicultural projects in the areas of:
- Visual and performing arts (e.g. concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, film projects)
- Sustainability (environmental protection and urban gardening projects across Europe)
